Case Study: Runner’s Choice Healthy Pasta
There are a lot of people that want to eat pasta but are afraid to add a few pounds because of it. There is an alternative to regular pasta, introducing Runner’s Choice healthy pasta made from zucchini. To go along with the great taste, Diaz Designz provided a new logo and package design.
Runner’s Choice Rebrand
Objective
Design an original brand identity for a new pasta company by implementing UI/UX processes. Along with these processes, the design needs to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Execution
Before designing anything, Diaz Designz had to create a name for the pasta company. After some research, Runner’s Choice pasta was developed. Once the name was complete, the logo was created to go along with not only a healthy alternative to regular pasta, but to also cater to the healthy consumer. The color palette promotes health with the green colors, peace with the blue, and clarity for the yellow. All of these fit perfect for the goals any health conscious person wants to achieve. The typography design used in the logo: Source Sans Variable and Hiragino Sans GB.
With the overall completed design, Diaz Designz was able to provide the consumer with a healthy option for pasta through the package design, new logo, and a complimenting color palette. The package design displays well against leading competitors because of the contrasting color palette. The logo design is not a typical logo for pasta, therefore stands out from the competition and relates to those who eat healthy.
